Welcome to the brand new Financial Independence UK podcast!
This episode introduces Tom, who he is, his skill set and why he is attempting to be financially independent. You will hear Tom talk with Alvar from the Financial Independence EU. Alvar linked the hosts of FIUK together and has been integral to our mission.
Both Alex and Tom are young, motivated individuals in their late twenties (Tom) and early thirties (Alex) with a keen interest in personal finance and the positive effects it can have on your life. Financial Independence is a movement that was born in the US, and is centred around budgeting, saving and investing enough so that it becomes possible to fund your lifestyle from returns on your investments without having to work. Working will be optional.
This will be the first episode of many, so stay tuned to continue gaining a useful insight into the benefits of and tactics for achieving Financial Independence in the UK.
